Summer is going to be sizzling in Salem because Days of our Lives just cast primetime actor Gilles Marini in a brand-new role.
The sexy French-American actor has joined the NBC soap as a lawyer named Ted who finds himself drawn to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), reports EW. He started taping in December and -- mark your calendars so you don't forget -- will first air in June.
DAYS hasn't revealed how long Marini will stick around on the canvas, but rumor has it he'll be stirring up trouble in Salem for at least a few months.
Marini's credits include a recurring role as Dr. Ghode on The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as roles on television shows like Switched at Birth, Devious Maids, 2 Broke Girls, Brothers & Sisters, Sex and the City, and Nip/Tuck.
